Resulta que no solo Akira se ha quedado sin director<\/a> en las últimas horas, Deadline.com nos advierte<\/a> que Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune<\/a> (¿?) pierde ahora a David O. Russell<\/a>. Se ve que el director de The Fighter<\/a> (2010), por la que obtuvo un buen puñado de nominaciones y se llevó un par de Oscar, prefiere tierras más realistas y ha decidido decir hasta luego cocodrilo a la gente de Sony Pictures<\/strong>. La compañía optará por contratar a un nuevo guionista para que vuelva a trabajar sobre el borrador que desarrollaron Thomas Dean Donnelly<\/a> y Joshua Oppenheimer<\/a>… vamos, que el trabajo de escritura de O. Russell<\/strong> se va de cabeza a la papelera. Y ojito, porque hace escasos minutos 24 Frames de Los Angeles Times avisa<\/a> que con la salida de David O. Russell<\/strong> todo apunta a que Mark Wahlberg<\/a> también se cae del proyecto, recordemos que el actor era elección del propio director. Y puestos a descontar… Robert De Niro<\/a> y Joe Pesci<\/a> también se quedarán fuera, ¿no? Porque vamos, sus personajes aparecían en el guión que ha sido ahora descartado.<\/p>\n

Pero claro, Hollywood<\/strong> es Hollywood<\/strong> y si aquí te quedas sin una pieza en otro lado incorporan nuevas que dan mejor pinta al posible resultado final. Por ejemplo, Deadline.com nos descubre<\/a> que Disney Pictures<\/strong> está cerca de cerrar un acuerdo con Zack Braff<\/a> para que este se una a Oz: The Great and Powerful<\/a> (2013) de Sam Raimi<\/a>. Braff<\/strong> podría acabar interpretando a Frank<\/strong>, el leal pero poco apreciado ayudante de Oz<\/strong> (James Franco<\/a>). Es Variety la que por su parte añade<\/a> también a este proyecto a la jovencísima Joey King<\/a>, actriz de 11 años que se une a esta precuela de El mago de Oz<\/a> (The Wizard of Oz<\/em>, 1939). King interpretará a China Girl<\/strong>, una niña de porcelana que acabará acogiendo Oz<\/strong> tras descubrir que Evanora<\/strong> (Rachel Weisz<\/a>) ha aniquilado a toda su familia. Recordad, 8 de marzo del 2013<\/strong>, ese día se estrenará, al menos en USA, Oz: The Great and Powerful<\/strong>. Y más fichajes. Por ejemplo el que nos adelanta Inside Movies de EW.com<\/a>. Cuenta la web que John Cho<\/a> es el último que se une a Total Recall<\/a> (2012) de Len Wiseman<\/a> para encarnar a McClane<\/strong>, el representante de la empresa de recuerdos que convencerá a Douglas Quaid<\/strong> (Colin Farrell<\/a>) para que se implante aventuras en su cerebro. En el film de Paul Verhoeven<\/a> había también un McClane<\/strong>, pero era una especie de agente que tras una brevísima aparición le entregaba a Quaid<\/strong> (Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a>) una maleta con dinero, un vídeo, etc. El equivalente en formato doctor al personaje de Cho<\/strong> podría ser el del Dr. Edgemar<\/strong> que interpretó Roy Brocksmith<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sigamos con más cosillas que hoy la cosa está interesante. Por ejemplo lo que nos comenta Peter Jackson en su página de Facebook<\/a>. El director neozelandés, ahora inmerso en el rodaje de The Hobbit: Part 1<\/a> (2012) y The Hobbit: Part 2<\/a> (2013), anuncia que Orlando Bloom<\/a> volverá a aparecer en la adaptación de la obra de J.R.R. Tolkien<\/strong> interpretando a Legolas<\/strong>. No indica ni cuánto ni dónde pero es de suponer que no lo veremos hasta la segunda parte en ese momento de la Batalla de los Cinco Ejércitos<\/strong> aunque podría aparecer en modo cameo en las escenas del Bosque Verde<\/strong> ya que es el hijo de Thranduil<\/strong> (Lee Pace<\/a>). Y mucho ojo al rumor aparecido en LatinoReview.com<\/a> hoy mismo y que afecta a la presencia villana en The Avengers<\/a> (2012) de Joss Whedon<\/a>. En pleno rodaje el portal deja caer que una fuente muy cercana a la producción le ha descubierto que los Vengadores<\/strong> deberán hacer frente a un villano de más enjundia que Loki<\/strong> (Tom Hiddleston<\/a>). Parece ser que además de la rumoreada desde hace tiempo invasión Skrull<\/strong>, <\/strong>estos vendrán acompañados por el mismísimo Thanos<\/strong>, lo que daría sentido a la presencia de El Guantelete del Infinito en la pasada Comic-Con de San Diego<\/a>. LatinoReview.com<\/strong> publica la noticia con el ciento y la madre de spoilers<\/strong> que prefiero no leer. ¿Villano verdadero o falso rumor? Ya se verá, en su día este portal descubrió cosillas como que Brandon Routh<\/a> iba a ser el nuevo Superman<\/strong> o que Heath Ledger<\/a> encarnaría al Joker<\/strong> en El caballero oscuro<\/a> (The Dark Knight<\/em>, 2010).<\/p>\n

La razón es lamentable… los productores dejan fuera a Jane<\/strong> porque quieren a un actor más étnico y de mucha menor relevancia. Lo dicho, lamentable. Ah, y nos cuenta en Industry Gamers<\/a> que BioShock<\/a> (¿?), la adaptación del homónimo juego, que el proyecto parece no estar muerto y aunque Ken Levine<\/strong>, director creativo de Irrational Games<\/strong>, reconoce que no necesitan una película para crear más hype<\/em> en torno al producto si bien siguen negociando con diversas compañías para ver si algún día sale algo interesante. Eso si, reconoce que hay cosas que hacen de BioShock<\/strong> un buen videojuego pero hay otras que cambiándolas podrían dar como resultado una buena película. ¿Cambios en la historia?
