Leo en Twitch Films<\/strong>, web que para el que no lo sepa se dedica a comentar pelis extrañas (asia, serie b, etc.), que Christopher Lambert<\/strong>, nuestro bizco favorito, vuelve a las andadas después de perder el norte hace ya unos cuantos años. Desde hace ya mucho tiempo viene haciendo auténticas caspas dignas de mención y, actualmente, tiene a puntito de estrenar una película alemana sobre vampiros llamada Metamorphosis<\/a> (2005) que sabe dios, podéis ver el trailer en Twitch Films<\/a>. Bueno, el otro día, y después de la presentación del trailer de Beowulf & Grendel<\/a> (2005), me vino a la cabeza esa película que Lambert<\/strong> protagonizó en 1999… Beowulf<\/strong> se llamaba y era el steampunk<\/a> más casposo que ha parido madre, nunca podré olvidar la hoja de afeitar gigante que se ve al principio y con la cual partían al medio a los incautos herejes.<\/p>\n

\"Todos<\/p>\n

Muchos comentasteis cosillas sobre esta peli y volviendo a pensar me dije ¿cuántos habrán sido Beowulf<\/strong> en el cine? La respuesta es breve, cosa que me sorprende dado el mucho juego que da el personaje y su historia, tenemos al tapado Vladimir Kulich<\/a> (Buliwyf<\/strong>) de El Guerrero Número 13<\/a> (1999), a Christopher Lambert<\/a> en Beowulf<\/a> (1999) y ahora a Gerard Butler<\/a> en Beowulf & Grendel<\/a> (2005). Pronto, para el 2007, tendremos una versión animada de Beowulf dirigida por Robert Zemeckis<\/a>, en este caso será Ray Winstone<\/a> quien pondrá la voz al personaje digital. En fin… me están entrando ganas de volver a ver el film de Lambert, ¿puro masoquismo?<\/p>\n

\"El<\/p>\n

Seguimos con temas terroríficos. El otro día apareció en Internet la foto del chavalito que va a interpretar al nuevo Damien<\/strong>, el anticristo que tanto juego dio en los años 70 a Richard Donner<\/a> en el film La Profecía<\/a> (1976), en el remake del clásico titulado The Omen 666<\/a> (2006). Recuerdo la peli de Donner<\/strong> con cierto gusto, además del espectacular reparto encabezado por Gregory Peck<\/a>, Lee Remick<\/a> y David Warner<\/a> quiero destacar los efectos especiales de John Richardson<\/a>, sobre todo aquella escena en la que David Warner<\/strong> palma cuando una ventana de cristal colocada en un camión de transporte se desliza y le rebana la cabeza… y es que las carga el diablo. En fin, después de Harvey Stephens<\/a>, Jonathan Scott Taylor<\/a> y el mismísimo Sam Neill<\/a>, ahora le toca a Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick<\/a>, un nuevo niño con una cara que transmite justo lo que necesita Damien Thorn<\/strong>… mucha maldad y una mirada angelical.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
