Antes de nada el pelotazo de la jornada. Vía Coming Soon<\/a> nos enteramos que Marvel Studios<\/strong> anuncia que Natalie Portman<\/a> ha fichado para interpretar a Jane Foster<\/strong> en Thor<\/a> (2011) de Kenneth Branagh<\/a>. Aunque originalmente en los cómics Foster<\/strong> era una enfermera que se convertía en el primer amor de Thor<\/strong>, Marvel Studios<\/strong> ha decidido actualizar al personaje y ofrecer algo diferente. Portman<\/strong> se une por lo tanto a Chris Hemsworth<\/a> como Thor<\/strong> y a Tom Hiddleston<\/a> como el villano Loki<\/strong>. Parece ser que la idea es iniciar el rodaje a principios del 2010 para así cumplir como anunciaron hace tiempo y estrenar el 20 de mayo del 2011<\/strong>. Junto al anuncio de Natalie Portman<\/strong>, Marvel Studios<\/strong> nos ofrece una primera sinopsis para el film: "Esta épica aventura se extiende por todo el Universo Marvel, desde el presente en la tierra al reino de Asgard. En el centro de la historia está el sorprendente Thor, un poderoso y arrogante guerrero cuyas imprudentes acciones hacen renacer una antigua guerra. Thor en enviado a la Tierra y obligado a vivir entre los seres humanos como castigo. Una vez en la Tierra, Thor aprenderá todo lo que necesita para ser un verdadero héroe cuando el villano más peligroso de su mundo envía los poderes más oscuros de las fuerzas de Asgard con la idea de invadir la Tierra<\/em>".<\/p>\n

Como tendréis en cuenta ya estamos en la semana previa a la Comic-Con de San Diego 2009<\/strong> y, por lo tanto, habrá que estar pendiente de posibles filtraciones en forma de carteles que decoren las calles de la ciudad anfitriona o cosas de esas. De todas formas Hollywood<\/strong> no descansa y sigue demostrando que lo mejor es explotar aquello que mucha gente conoce. Esta vez Paramount Pictures<\/strong> se lía la manta a la cabeza y vuelve a negociar con una empresa juguetera para explotar uno de sus productos más significativos. Variety anuncia<\/a> que Mattel<\/strong> es la que ha convencido a Paramount<\/strong> y al productor Joe Roth<\/a> de que Max Steel<\/strong>, el muñeco de acción más vendido en Latinoamérica, es una buena opción de adaptación. El producto lo deja claro, un joven de 19 años que practica deportes extremos es reclutado por una agencia secreta después de sufrir un accidente donde su cuerpo ha quedado infectado por nanobots que le han convertido en un superhombre… Ojo, Mattel<\/strong> lo tiene claro, quiere sacar el mismo jugo que Hasbro<\/strong> ha hecho con los Transformers<\/strong>. En estos momentos Mattel<\/strong> y Roth<\/strong> buscan ya director y guionista para que trabajen codo a codo con la compañía juguetera para comprender la idiosincrasia del personaje y como sacar de ella una retahíla de secuelas que serán definidas como "franquicia".<\/p>\n

Ahora unas cuantas breves. Variety anuncia un nuevo proyecto de zombis<\/a> con tono Shaun of the Dead<\/a> (2004)… o por lo menos eso pretenden sus productores de Circle of Confusion<\/strong>. La cosa se llamará Gatekeeper<\/strong> (¿?) y contará con Matthew O’Leary<\/a>, Lea Thompson<\/a>, Judge Reinhold<\/a>, Ron Perlman<\/a> y Jana Kramer<\/a>. Isaac Meisenheimer<\/a>, que también ha escrito el guión, debutará como director en esta historia donde tres amigos se verán forzados a defender su pueblo de una invasión zombi. Recuerda demasiado a La divertida noche de los muertos vivientes<\/a> (1985) y productos de ese estilo, comedia de terror de los disparatados años 80. El rodaje arranca este mes de septiembre. The Hollywood Reporter por su parte nos anuncia<\/a> que Holt McCallany<\/a> se une al cada vez más cerrado reparto de The Losers<\/a> (2010) de Sylvain White<\/a>. Como recordaréis The Losers<\/strong> es la adaptación comiquera de la serie publicada por Vertigo Comics<\/strong>. Con Warner Bros. <\/strong>y Silver Pictures<\/strong> al frente de la producción es de esperar que el resultado final pinte bien. McCallany<\/strong>, conocido secundario, interpretará a Wade<\/strong>, un ex-miembro del grupo de operaciones especiales traicionado y dado por muerto. El reparto completo no pinta nada mal: Jeffrey Dean Morgan<\/a> como el líder Clay<\/strong>, Idris Elba<\/a> como Roque<\/strong>, Chris Evans<\/a> como Jensen<\/strong>, Óscar Jaenada<\/a> como Cougar<\/strong>, Columbus Short<\/a> como Pooch<\/strong>, Zoe Saldana<\/a> como Aisha<\/strong> y Jason Patric<\/a> como el villano Max<\/strong>. Para rematar este bloque avisaros que FirstShowing.net nos indica<\/a> que Alcon Entertainment<\/strong> prepara una versión híbrida que combinará acción real y CGI de los dibujos de Hanna-Barbera<\/strong> "Hong Kong Phooey"<\/a> (1974-1975), donde un perro vestido de kimono se dedicaba a hacer kung-fu para patear el culo de los criminales. Si os digo la verdad, toda la vida pensé que era Hong Kong Fui<\/strong>, o eso era lo que se grababa en mis jóvenes ojos hace muchos años en la comodidad del sofá de la casa de mis padres. Para terminar un par de comentarios. The Herald Sun<\/strong>, aunque encontrado en Shock Till You Drop<\/a>, y Moviehole<\/a> anuncian que Kodi Smit-McPhee<\/a>, el niño protagonista de The Road<\/a> (2009) de John Hillcoat<\/a>, podría ser el elegido para encarnar a Oskar<\/strong> en Let me in<\/a> (2010), el remake<\/em> que prepara Matt Reeves<\/a> de Déjame entrar<\/a> (2008). \/Films se ha currado un muy interesante artículo<\/a> donde destaca todo eso que no veremos en la Comic-Con de San Diego y que, sin lugar a dudas, hubiera tenido un más que merecido hueco.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
