Nuevo día y nuevas noticias desde ese mundo a parte que es Hollywood. Vamos a abordar así de partida unos cuantos rumores para ir asentando el post y luego entraremos con buen ritmo en las habituales confirmaciones, novedades, presentaciones, etc. Los rumores, no se si muy creíbles, salen primero de Mania.com<\/a> que coloca a Chris Evans<\/a> como candidato para otro de los roles del film comiquero The Losers<\/a> (2011) de Sylvain White<\/a>. Con Jeffrey Dean Morgan<\/a> como Clay<\/strong>, Idris Elba<\/a> como Roque<\/strong> y Zoe Saldana<\/a> como Aisha<\/strong>, Evans<\/strong> entraría en el reparto para interpretar a Jensen<\/strong>, el especialista tecnológico del grupo de choque. Curioso, pero este proyecto basado en una obra de DC Comics<\/strong> \/ Vertigo<\/strong> está tomando buena forma. El segundo sale también de un portal de esos que de pascuas en ramos publica una de esas noticias que deja todo el mundo con cara de sorpresa. Esta vez Joystiq.com nos indica<\/a> que la famosa saga Fallout<\/strong> de Bethesda Softworks<\/strong> ha sido registrada como producto factible para dar el salto al cine. Con este anuncio no se quiere decir que Fallout<\/strong>, y su megaéxito Fallout 3<\/strong>, esté ya en manos de alguna gran productora para ser llevada dentro de un par de años al cine. Ojo, lo que si está claro es que en el país de los ciegos el tuerto es el rey y creo que a estas alturas, con el anuncio hoy oficializado, al menos alguna major<\/em> de peso está tanteando la idea o incluso planificando un posible desarrollo…<\/p>\n

Vamos ahora con noticias reales y si confirmadas. Cuenta hoy The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> que Sucker Punch<\/a> (2010) de Zack Snyder<\/a> sigue dando puñetazos en todas partes, muchos de ellos al aire, con eso de intentar cerrar el reparto de féminas que protagonizarán el film. Hoy las que han firmado son Jamie Chung<\/a>, Chi Chi<\/strong> en la triste Dragonball Evolution<\/a> (2009), y Jena Malone<\/a>, conocida por Donnie Darko<\/a> (2001) u Orgullo y prejuicio<\/a> (2005). Junto a Emily Browning<\/a>, Vanessa Hudgens<\/a> y Abbie Cornish<\/a>, Snyder<\/strong> cuenta ya con 5 jóvenes que se verán inmersas en ese mundo de fantasía extremo creado por Baby Doll para poder escapar del hospital psiquiátrico en el que ha sido encerrada y casi lobotomizada. Ojo, lo de este film es de chiste. De los nombres originales anunciados hace unos meses ya van tres que se han caído por conflictos con otros proyectos que ya tenían apalabrados. Como recordaréis la prota iba a ser Amanda Seyfried<\/a>, sustituida por Emily Browning<\/strong> tras la negativa de HBO<\/strong> a liberarla de sus acuerdos para protagonizar "Big Love"<\/a> (2006-¿?), y ahora Chung<\/strong> tomará el papel que Emma Stone<\/a> tuvo durantes unas semanas, lo mismo que Malone<\/strong> con el rol que estaba decidido para Evan Rachel Wood<\/a>. En fin, esperemos que no sigan haciendo más trueques.<\/p>\n

Otro proyecto que nace hoy es la adaptación comiquera de una novela gráfica de terror publicada en USA por Devil’s Due<\/strong>. Cuenta Variety<\/strong> que Dark Castle, la filial para terror de Warner Bros., llevará al cine "The Nye Incidents"<\/a> de Whitley Strieber<\/strong>. El anuncio incluye que el debutante Todd Lincoln<\/a> dirigirá el film que narrará como un médico investiga los asesinatos de gente que ha declarado ser abducida por extraterrestres. Curioso es el dato de que la novela gráfica está basada en hechos reales…¿? Por ahora no hay guionista para adaptar el cómic pero lo que si implica el anuncio es que Lincoln<\/strong> tendrá que ver como hace para llevar adelante Hack\/Slash<\/a> (¿?) para Rogue Pictures<\/strong>, el remake<\/em> de La mosca<\/a> (1986) para Fox Searchlight<\/strong> y este nuevo The Nye Incidents<\/strong> (¿?).<\/p>\n

Ahora unas cuantas breves del mundo trekkie<\/em>. La revista Wired se ha sacado de la manga unas interesantes imágenes<\/a> de arte conceptual de Star Trek<\/a> (2009) de J.J. Abrams<\/a>. Los dibujos han sido creados por Neville Page<\/a>, un fuera de serie que ha creado y crea cosas para Cloverfield \/ Monstruoso<\/a> (2008), Watchmen<\/a> (2009), Avatar<\/a> (2009) o Piranha 3-D<\/a> (2010), aquí su página personal: nevillepage.com<\/a>. ¿Qué nos descubre la revista? Pues el monstruo que le tocará las narices a James T. Kirk<\/strong> (Chris Pine<\/a>) en el planeta helado al que es llevado! Os recomiendo pasaros por Wired para ver todas las imágenes y por la web personal de Neville Page para alucinar un rato. También de este proyecto vale la pena pasarse por la web oficial del film, startrekmovie.com<\/a>, y disfrutar, accediendo a una opción llamada Panoramas en el menú lateral que aparece al pulsar NAV, de unas imágenes brutales del puente de mando de la USS Enterprise… para mear y no echar gota! Son 360º!<\/p>\n

El cierre son unas cuantas imágenes que hay que ver en diversos sitios webs. Primero hay que pasarse por Shock Till You Drop<\/a> para ver nuevas fotografías de Whiteout<\/a> (2009) de Dominic Sena<\/a> y Orphan<\/a> (2009) de Jaume Collet-Serra<\/a>.
