Se acercan los días fuertes de la Semana Santa<\/strong> y Hollywood<\/strong> no descansa ni en estas fechas tan señaladas. Hoy para romper un poco el hábito comentaré de que van las imágenes que riegan el post y, en los siguientes párrafos, daré buena cuenta de las noticias del día. Yahoo! Movies se ha sacado de la manga un nuevo cartel<\/a> de Where the Wild Things Are<\/a> (2009) de Spike Jonze<\/a>. Está bastante bien y vuelve a animar los ánimos de los que esperamos ver en el cine la adaptación al cine de la famosa obra de Maurice Sendak<\/strong>. El segundo cartel del post es el primero, y tremendamente tardío, de The Box<\/a> (2009) de Richard Kelly<\/a>, la también adaptación al cine de, esta vez, el relator corto "Button, Button"<\/strong> de Richard Matheson<\/strong>. El póster sale del blog en MySpace de Kelly<\/a> y, en palabras suyas, transmite el horror del film así como aporta un aire hitchcockiano<\/em>. ¿Podremos ver en el cine el nuevo film de Richard Kelly<\/strong>? Toquemos madera.<\/p>\n

\"Primer<\/p>\n

Hablemos ahora un poquito de cine comiquero y centrémonos en proyectos salidos de la factoría Marvel Studios<\/strong>. En primer lugar importantes detalles de Iron Man 2<\/a> (2010) de Jon Favreau<\/a>. Es increíble lo ocurrido hoy. Resulta que ayer se inició el rodaje del film en localizaciones de California<\/strong>. No han pasado ni 24 horas y ya tenemos las primeras imágenes del set<\/a>, y vídeo del rodaje gracias a JFXOnline.com<\/a>, donde se nos presenta así de sopetón el nuevo aspecto de Robert Downey Jr.<\/a> como Tony Stark<\/strong>, Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a> como "Pepper" Pots<\/strong>, y los primeros vistazos de Sam Rockwell<\/a> como Justin Hammer<\/strong>, Garry Shandling<\/a> como ¿? y, sorpresa, Don Cheadle<\/a> como James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes<\/strong>! Para que también se comente a gusto, Splash Page MTV confirma oficialmente gracias a Downey Jr.<\/a> que la película contendrá un triángulo amoroso entre Tony Stark<\/strong>, "Pepper" Pots<\/strong> y Natasha Romanoff<\/strong> a.k.a. Black Widow<\/strong> (Scarlett Johansson<\/a>). Vamos, que se va a poner las botas el simpático de Stark<\/strong>. Ojo, en el universo Ultimate<\/strong>, donde Nick Furia<\/strong> es negro, bendito Samuel L. Jackson<\/a>, Stark<\/strong> casi se casa con la Natasha<\/strong> antes de descubrir que es una traidora. Y claro, si hablamos tanto de Iron Man 2<\/strong>, ¿qué tal un poco de Thor<\/a> (2011)? Nuevamente Splash Page MTV es el portal que confirma<\/a> que Marvel Studios<\/strong> ha descartado a Channing Tatum<\/a> como candidato a interpretar al dios de trueno que camina por Asgard<\/strong>. Cuenta Tatum<\/strong> que Marvel Studios<\/strong> le ha transmitido que quieren apostar por un actor con verdadero aspecto nórdico. ¿Acabarán seleccionado al ideal Alexander Skarsgård<\/a>?<\/p>\n

\"Nuevo<\/p>\n

Cambiando de bando vale mucho la pena comentar las primeras imágenes del set de rodaje de The Expendables<\/a> (2010)! Coming Soon las publica<\/a> y en ellas podemos ver a Sylvester Stallone<\/a> haciendo virguerías no aptas para un señor de 62 años, está en una forma sencillamente impresionante, y a Jason Statham<\/a> dándose un pase por el rodaje. Mola. También son interesantes las declaraciones del director Breck Eisner<\/a> acerca del remake<\/em> que tiene entre manos de La mujer y el monstruo<\/a> (1954). Shock Till You Drop habla con Eisner<\/a> en el set de The Crazies<\/a> (2009), otro remake<\/em> también en manos de este director, y les confirma que Universal Pictures<\/strong> les ha solicitado un segundo guión y, sobre todo, esperar a que se estrene The Wolf Man<\/a> (2009) de Joe Johnston<\/a>. Supongo que Universal<\/strong> quiere ver que tal se comporta en taquilla un film de terror en tono clásico alejado de los modernos arquetipos que priman hoy en día. Esperemos pacientemente… Creature from the Black Lagoon<\/a> (¿?) saldrá a flote. Peligroso se presenta el futuro de Terminator Salvation<\/a> (2009). Resulta que son varios los sitios, \/Films<\/a> o SciFi Wire<\/a>, que se hacen eco de una campaña de promoción del film bajo acuerdo entre Warner Bros.<\/strong> y la compañía de comida rápida Pizza Hut<\/strong>. Pasaros por la web de la promoción<\/a> y temed al ver en la parte inferior una triste calificación de PG-13<\/strong>. Parece ser que McG<\/a> se ha tenido que comer parte del metraje… como sea así menudo fiasco!<\/p>\n

\"Un<\/p>\n

Terminemos por hoy con unas cuantas novedades de otros proyectos que llegarán a los cines en un futuro no muy lejano. The Hollywood Repoter nos descubre<\/a> que Mandalay Pictures<\/strong> ha comprado los derechos cinematográficos sobre un manga japonés titulado "Full Metal Panic"<\/strong>, no confundir con "Full Metal Alquemist"<\/strong>. El film contará las aventuras y el romance entre Sosuke Sagara<\/strong> y una teenager<\/em> de un instituto. La peculiaridad radica en que Sagara<\/strong> es en verdad miembro de una unidad antiterrorista encargado de proteger a la joven, que mira tu por donde tiene poderes místicos. Prometen acción por un tubo y mucha comedia teen<\/em>. Se dice que Zac Efron<\/a> ha sido tanteado para interpretar a Sosuke Sagara<\/strong>. Variety por su parte anuncia<\/a> que la obra del tristemente fallecido Michael Crichton<\/a> seguirá pegando fuerte en el cine. "Pirate Latitudes"<\/strong> y ¿?<\/strong>, las dos últimas obras del escritor, comienzan su andadura por los estudios de Hollywood<\/strong> para calentar la cabeza a más de un productor. El primer libro cuenta las aventuras de Hunter<\/strong>, un legendario pirata, y el gobernador de Jamaica<\/strong> en su búsqueda de un tesoro de un galeón español hundido. El segundo libro, todavía sin título y no escrito, será un thriller<\/em> tecnológico basado en notas del autor.
