Por ejemplo, al dato de que Timothy Olyphant<\/strong> se unía a "The Mandalorian"<\/strong> en su segunda temporada<\/a>, hoy Slash Films cuenta que Olyphant<\/strong> será un personaje llamado Cobb Vanth<\/em><\/a> y, ojito, vestirá el icónico traje de Boba Fett<\/em>… ¿entonces porqué Temuera Morrison<\/strong> es Boba Fett<\/em><\/a> si no va a vestir el famoso traje? <\/p>\n

Pues sencillo, resulta que Cobb Vanth<\/em> el autodesignado sheriff del asentamiento de Freetown<\/em> en Tatooine<\/em>. Lleva parte de una armadura mandaloriana que fue adquirida a los Jawas<\/em>, quienes recogieron los restos de la barcaza de Jabba el Hutt<\/em> poco después de los eventos de El Retorno del Jedi<\/strong> (Return of the Jedi<\/em>). Haciendo memoria, y como si fuera ayer, los restos se encuentran en el lugar en el que Boba Fett<\/em> fue arrojado a la fosa de Sarlacc<\/em> en el Mar de Dunas de Tatooine<\/em>. Se supone que la armadura mandaloriana comprada por Vanth<\/em> no es otra que la infame armadura verde que llevaba uno de los cazarrecompensas más famosos de la galaxia… y ahí la razón de que vista como Boba Fett<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Aquí arriba el primer cartel de La Vieja Guardia<\/strong> (The Old Guard<\/em>) de Gina Prince-Bythewood<\/strong>, el trailer dicen que llegará pasado mañana. Habrá que ver que puede molar la cosa. También interesante y curioso es el dato contado en Deadline por el cual Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong> ha cerrado un acuerdo con Blumhouse<\/strong> para producir y dirigir un film de terror… Mother Nature<\/strong><\/a>. La Curtis<\/strong> co-escribirá el film, centrado en cosas causadas por el cambio climático, junto a Russel Goldman<\/strong>, su socio en Comet Pictures<\/strong>. Poco más se puede decir, casi 80 papeles a sus espaldas, directora de un par de episodios de televisión, y Scream Queen<\/em> en lo más alto con icónicos papeles en La noche de Halloween<\/strong> (Halloween<\/em>), La niebla<\/strong> (The Fog<\/em>), El tren del terror<\/strong> (Terror Train<\/em>), Prom Night: llamadas de terror<\/strong> (Prom Night<\/em>), Entre pillos anda el juego<\/strong> (Trading Places<\/em>), Un pez llamado Wanda<\/strong> (A Fish Called Wanda<\/em>), Mentiras arriesgadas<\/strong> (True Lies<\/em>) o Puñales por la espalda<\/strong> (Knives Out<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Para terminar apuntar que cuentan que la actriz china Fala Chen<\/strong> podría ser la agente del MI6 Leiko Wu<\/em> en Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings<\/strong><\/a>, uno de los proyectos Marvel Studios<\/strong> que se quedaron congelados tras el inicio de la pandemia del COVID-19. Si se confirma podremos ver antes a la Chen<\/strong> en "The Undoing"<\/strong> junto a Hugh Grant<\/strong>, Nicole Kidman<\/strong>, Donald Sutherland<\/strong> o Edgar Ramírez<\/strong>. Sobre la Wu, pues es un personaje recurrente en los cómics de Shang-Chi y compañera de fatigas de este. Más interesante si cabe es el acuerdo entre Complete Fiction<\/strong> y Netflix<\/strong><\/a>. Complete Fiction<\/strong> es una nueva compañía comandada por Nira Park<\/strong>, Edgar Wright<\/strong>, Joe Cornish<\/strong> y Rachael Prior<\/strong>. Con base en Londres y Los Ángeles, la nueva compañía operará en los sectores cine y televisión y ya está trabajando con Netflix<\/strong> para desarrollar tres series. La primera es "Lockwood & Co"<\/strong>, serie de detectives de acción y aventuras sobrenaturales, basada en las novelas de Jonathan Stroud<\/strong>. La serie será dirigida y producida por Cornish<\/strong>. Como parte del acuerdo con Netflix, la compañía ha optado por la genial trilogía de terror de ciencia ficción "Los asesinatos de Molly Southbourne"<\/strong> del novelista Tade Thompson<\/strong> (una propuesta muy potente), y la serie de fantasía histórica inspirada en el folclore islámico, "La ciudad de bronce (La trilogía de Daevabad)"<\/strong>, del autor S.A.
