Entre cabezada y cabezada en este caluroso julio, intento darme un aire para poder dejaros con las úlimas noticias que riegan este usualmente desapacible lunes. Además, la Comic-Con de San Diego arranca el miércoles, por lo que la locura noticiera comenzará a tomar velocidad conforme las horas pasen. Tenemos por ejemplo vistazos exclusivos de EW a varios proyectos que nos visitarán este año. Por ejemplo, un vistazo de cuerpo entero para Michael Myers<\/em> en Halloween<\/strong> de David Gordon Green<\/strong>. Michael<\/em> vuelve a la carga. Recordemos que tras la máscara está Nick Castle<\/strong>, y que junto a este Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong> de nuevo como Laurie Strode<\/em>, Judy Greer<\/strong>, Andi Matichak<\/strong>, Will Patton<\/strong> o Toby Huss<\/strong>. Tenemos también nueva imagen de The Predator<\/strong> de Shane Black<\/strong>, y en particular parte de una escena que vimos en los trailers… Boyd Holbrook<\/strong> ("Narcos"<\/em>) siendo controlado por un depredador con muy mala espina. La imagen final es de "Nightflyers"<\/strong>, serie de ciencia ficción basada en una obra de George R. R. Martin<\/strong> y que otrora fue cine.<\/p>\n

Venga, una vez visto a Michael Myers<\/em> vamos con otras cosas. Por ejemplo, el anuncio hecho por Duncan Jones<\/strong> de que, aparentemente, tiene nuevo proyecto entre manos<\/a>…<\/p>\n

One for them or one for me? One for them or one for me? Studio or wee indie? One for them or one for me? Shall I make a comic book movie? A Marvel film? Or perhaps DC? Image or Dark Horse, maybe? Shirtless Bear-Fighter! was extremely funny. Or, back to my homeland, 2000AD? Sláine, Strontium, or ABC? Dredd was great, but no sequel. Pity. Yes, one from the Mega-verse, now let me see. Who, oh, who should it be?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Esa cresta mohawk azulona del final, nombrar a uno de los sellos comiqueros británicos más míticos, esa referencia a la inexistente secuela de Dredd<\/strong>, y la cita final directa a visitar el Mega-verso<\/em>. Por lo tanto, tras triunfar con Moon<\/strong> y Código fuente<\/strong> (Source Code<\/em>), y tras cagarla con Warcraft<\/strong> y Mute<\/strong>, es la hora de Rogue Trooper<\/strong>, adaptación de la homónima obra del sello 2000AD<\/strong> creada por Gerry Finley-Day<\/strong>, Dave Gibbons<\/strong> y Rafael Boluda Vidal<\/strong>. La historia, ciencia ficción bastante violenta, nos traslada a Nu-Earth<\/em> (Nueva Tierra<\/em>), un planeta en un lugar estratégico para la expansión interplanetaria. Resulta que en ese planeta tiene lugar una guerra civil entre dos facciones, y en una de ella esta Rogue<\/em>, un soldado de infantería genético (soldado de élite creado y modificado genéticamente con la piel azul y capaz de respirar la imposible atmósfera del lugar). Su misión, junto con otros tres camaradas biochips Gunnar<\/em>, Bagman<\/em> y Helm<\/em>, buscar y cazar al general que traicionó a su facción… causa real del fin de la guerra. Por ahora es un plan, muy interesante, del cual Jones<\/strong> puede sacar con suerte una propuesta bastante molona.<\/p>\n

The Predator, ganas infinitas<\/em><\/p>\n

Como punto final para hoy, pues The New York Post charla con Dakoda Shepley<\/strong>, jugador de la NFL, para descubrir que está en Deadpool 2<\/strong>… como Omega Red<\/em><\/a>! Lo malo, la cosa no llegó a cuajar por tema del inicio de la liga y finalmente Shepley<\/strong> apareció en el film pero sin maquillaje. Eso sí, hay un test de la pinta que iba a tener en la película (escenas de la prisión).<\/p>\n
