Pues nada, estamos a día 1 de mayo y habrá que echar un vistazo a las última noticias, y más si tenemos en cuenta que hoy tendremos nuevo trailer de Ant-Man y la Avispa<\/strong> (Ant-Man and the Wasp<\/em>) de Peyton Reed<\/strong>… complemento del cartel de ayer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Por ejemplo, podemos leer un curioso rumor, y por ahora nada más que eso, en The Playlist. Resulta que Bob Mortimer<\/strong>, guionista y cómico, comentó que estaba trabajando en un proyecto con Ben Wheatley<\/strong> sobre Michael Jackson<\/strong> cuando tuvieron que dejarlo aparcado porque… Marvel Studios<\/strong> llamó a la puerta de Wheatley<\/strong> para ofrecerle un plan mejor<\/a>. Pues sí, Marvel Studios<\/strong> y Ben Wheatley<\/strong> en una misma frase… para fliparlo un rato. ¿Y qué podría ofrecer el director de proyectos inclasificables como Kill List<\/strong>, la campista Turistas<\/strong> (Sightseers<\/em>), la extremadamente lisérgica A field in England<\/strong>, esa paranoia social titulada High-Rise<\/strong> y la hiperactiva Free Fire<\/strong> a la casa de las ideas? La verdad, cuesta imaginarlo, pero si uno echa un vistazo al pasado y lee una entrevista concedida por Wheatley<\/strong><\/a> a Little White Lies, el director británico ya lo dejó caer…<\/p>\n

‘Marvel Zombies’ no se ha hecho, y es lo que me interesa. Aunque es un estudio un poco demasiado nicho, Marvel es interesante porque es una especie de híbrido de cine y televisión. Un programa de televisión muy, muy caro, del que compras un pase cada tres meses.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

En fin, un rumor y nada más. Ahí se queda al cosa hasta que el futuro nos diga si esto es verdadero o falso. Por mi parte, mucho "Marvel Zombies"<\/strong> pero veo más a Wheatley<\/strong> dirigiendo lo nuevo de Doctor Strange<\/strong>… le pega.<\/p>\n

Más cosillas. Tenemos director para el episodio piloto de "The Boys"<\/strong> de Amazon Studios<\/strong><\/a>. Cuentan en Variety que Dan Trachtenberg<\/strong> ha sido contratado por la compañía para hacerse cargo del primer capítulo de la adaptación de la obra de Garth Ennis<\/strong> y Darick Robertson<\/strong>. Si bien el plan inicial era que Seth Rogen<\/strong> y Evan Goldberg<\/strong>, productores ejecutivos, se hiciera cargo del proyecto, los problemas de agenda han provocado esta decisión final. Trachtenberg<\/strong> es una elección correcta, responsable de la sobresaliente Calle Cloverfield 10<\/strong> (10 Cloverfield Lane<\/em>) y de un episodio de la serie "Black Mirror"<\/strong>, está bien que encuentre nuevo trabajo y más haciéndose cargo de un piloto, lo que suele definir el estilo de la serie. A ver si se le abren nuevas puertas.<\/p>\n

Y ojito al remake<\/em> que se nos viene encima. Deadline cuenta que Lupita Nyong’o<\/strong> protagonizará The Killer<\/strong> con John Woo<\/strong> nuevamente dirigiendo<\/a>. Sí, el clásico del cine de acción de Hong Kong protagonizado por Chow Yun-fat<\/strong> en su mejor época, regresará dándole una ligera vuelta a la tortilla… Hollywood lo vuelve a hacer y Woo<\/strong> prefiere ser parte de este despropósito. Esta vez veremos una asesina profesional (Nyong’o<\/strong>) que arriesgará su propia vida para salvar a una mujer a la que cegó accidentalmente en su último golpe. El guión cuenta con escrituras de Eran Creevy<\/strong> (Cruzando el límite<\/em>), Josh Campbell<\/strong> (Calle Cloverfield 10<\/em>), Matt Stuecken<\/strong> (Calle Cloverfield 10<\/em>) y dicen que Brian Helgeland<\/strong> (L.A. Confidential<\/em>).
