Tras <a href=\"https:\/\/uruloki.org\/felipeblog\/sitges-2017\/sitges-2017-palmares-encabezado-jupiters-moon-no-termina-convencer\">triunfar en el Festival de Sitges llev&aacute;ndose el premio a la mejor direcci&oacute;n<\/a>, este controvertido film con el empoderamiento femenino como se&ntilde;a  de identidad no dejar&aacute; indiferente a nadie. Por un lado porque si bien no inventa un g&eacute;nero, profundiza en aquel que hace ya muchos a&ntilde;os cont&oacute; con ese referente desagradable, violento y extremo titulado <strong>La &uacute;ltima casa a la izquierda<\/strong> (<em>The Last House on the Left<\/em>) del gran <strong>Wes Craven<\/strong>. <strong>Revenge<\/strong> es un paso m&aacute;s dentro del modelo, partimos de la violaci&oacute;n y rematamos con la venganza. El tema es que esta vez el punto de inicio es si cabe m&aacute;s controvertido (y prejuicioso), la protagonista <em>Jennifer<\/em> (<strong>Matilda Lutz<\/strong>) es, digamos, alegre de cascos, una joven de vida disipada con ganas de marcha. Todo el mundo tiene derecho a vivir la vida como mejor le parezca, pero en este caso Fargeat se apoya en ese inicio para transformar esta velada en un <em>via crucis<\/em> por el infierno m&aacute;s crudo con el desierto mexicano como tel&oacute;n de fondo. Notablemente aplaudida (y discutida), este es un primer importante paso para que acabe llegando a m&aacute;s lugares de forma oficial.
