Philippe y The Endless de Justin Benson y Aaron Moorhead&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vamos con el repaso del segundo d&iacute;a de Sitges 2017 porque hay de todos los colores. Arrancamos la jornada viendo <strong>Annabelle: Creation<\/strong> de <strong>David F. Sandberg<\/strong>. Hay que reconocer que lo poco que esperaba de la precuela de la desastrosa <strong>Annabelle<\/strong> se cubre con todo lo que le faltaba a predecesora&#8230; pero claro, pero cuando ni con esas alcanzas un m&iacute;nimo pues ajo y agua. Eso es <strong>Annabelle: Creation<\/strong>, un producto menor del establecido como <em>The Conjuring Universe<\/em> que s&oacute;lo a&ntilde;ade a la franquicia que es una historia directa a los acontecimientos que vimos hace unos a&ntilde;os. Por lo dem&aacute;s un producto <em>mainstream<\/em> de terror, masticado hasta hacer pur&eacute;, repleto de sustos preavisados y excesivamente t&oacute;pica. De esas que porque son las 8:15 cuando la ponen, que si no te duermes fijo. El reparto pues ah&iacute; est&aacute;, <strong>Anthony LaPaglia<\/strong> y <strong>Miranda Otto<\/strong> aportando algo de veteran&iacute;a, y una ristra de j&oacute;venes (promesas ya no s&eacute;) que ni f&uacute; ni fa. Desde luego que lo mejor es el enlace, porque el resto es terror de estudio, han sacado el manual y a ejecutar los pasos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"centrado\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uruloki.org\/felipeblog\/imagenes2017\/20170331-annabelle-creation.jpg\" alt=\"Annabelle: Creation\"><br \/><em>El cartel de Annabelle: Creation<\/em><\/p>\n<p>El segundo film de la jornada fue <strong>El sacrificio de un ciervo sagrado<\/strong> (<em>The Killing of a Sacred Deer<\/em>) de <strong>Yorgos Lanthimos<\/strong>, el mismo de las muy raras <strong>Canino<\/strong> (<em>Kynodontas<\/em>), <strong>Alps<\/strong> o <strong>Langosta<\/strong> (<em>The Lobster<\/em>). <strong>Lanthimos<\/strong> se junta nuevamente con <strong>Colin Farrell<\/strong> y se acompa&ntilde;a ahora por <strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong> (mejor que nunca) y el muy perturbador <strong>Barry Keoghan<\/strong>. El resultado es una obra que ahonda de forma salvaje en el sentimiento de culpa sembrada, como es ya marca de la casa,  de personajes   insensibles, mec&aacute;nicos y sin vida. Un obsceno desaf&iacute;o a la paciencia por no mandar a tomar viento al pu&ntilde;etero personaje de <strong>Keoghan<\/strong>. La historia es extra&ntilde;a, obvio, en cierta manera enfermiza y plagada de obsesiones: las directamente sexuales del personaje de <strong>Farrell<\/strong> y las s&oacute;lo intentos de mojar del que encarna <strong>Alicia Silverstone<\/strong>. Surrealismo  puro con una resoluci&oacute;n un pel&iacute;n grotesca y absurda&#8230; pero bueno, es <strong>Lanthimos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"centrado\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uruloki.org\/felipeblog\/imagenes2017\/20170818-killing-sacred-deer.jpg\" alt=\"Cartel de The Killing of a Sacred Deer\"><br \/><em>Cartel de The Killing of a Sacred Deer<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>El tercer film del completo d&iacute;a fue <strong>Wind River<\/strong>, podr&iacute;amos decir que debut tras las c&aacute;maras del genial guionista de <strong>Sicario<\/strong> o <strong>Comancher&iacute;a<\/strong> (<em>Hell or High Water<\/em>), pero es  dato falso ya que aqu&iacute; se tiene que responder ante todo y el pasado de <strong>Taylor Sheridan<\/strong> se viste de terror flojo con <strong>Vile<\/strong>, del 2011. Vamos a lo que vamos&#8230; as&iacute; para comenzar ya os digo que <strong>Wind River<\/strong> es de lo mejorcito que os pod&eacute;is echar a los ojos ahora mismo. Un thriller de redenci&oacute;n protagonizado por <strong>Jeremy Renner<\/strong> encarnando a un rastreador del Servicio de Pesca y Vida Silvestre del estado de Wisconsin (creo recordar) que debe ayudar a una agente del FBI (<strong>Elizabeth Olsen<\/strong>) a resolver un extra&ntilde;o crimen ocurrido en una reserva india. <strong>Sheridan<\/strong> se saca de la manga un ejemplo de libro de c&oacute;mo se debe dirigir una pel&iacute;cula (se ve que ha tenido buenos maestros en <strong>David Mackenzie<\/strong> y <strong>Denis Villeneuve<\/strong>). Se conoce como la palma de la mano el otro lado de la narraci&oacute;n cinematogr&aacute;fica y plasma perfectamente esta historia mundana. Ritmo pausado pero de las que te atrapan de principio a fin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"centrado\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uruloki.org\/felipeblog\/imagenes2017\/20171007-wind-river.jpg\" alt=\"Cartel de Wind River\"><br \/><em>Cartel de Wind River<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>Y otra m&aacute;s, ahora el documental <strong>78\/52<\/strong>. Interesant&iacute;sima propuesta esta de <strong>Alexandre O. Philippe<\/strong> que examina en pormenorizado detalle la secuencia de la ducha de <strong>Psicosis<\/strong> (<em>Psycho<\/em>) del maestro del suspense <strong>Alfred Hitchcock<\/strong>. Comentarios varios de <strong>Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong>, <strong>Guillermo del Toro<\/strong>, <strong>Peter Bogdanovich<\/strong>, <strong>Bret Easton Ellis<\/strong>, <strong>Karyn Kusama<\/strong>, <strong>Neil Marshall<\/strong>, <strong>Scott Spiegel<\/strong>, <strong>Leigh Whannell<\/strong> o  <strong>Elijah Wood<\/strong>. Curiosa visi&oacute;n extendida de todos los pasos dados por <strong>Hitchcock<\/strong> para rodar la secuencia, los secretos que oculta, los cortes sufridos, las razones de la posici&oacute;n de la c&aacute;mara en todo momento. Una rareza de esas que merece ser vista para tratar de comprender un poco m&aacute;s las obsesiones de un irrepetible genio del cine como el gran <strong>Alfred Hitchcock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"centrado\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uruloki.org\/felipeblog\/imagenes2017\/20171007-78-52.jpg\" alt=\"Cartel de 78\/52\"><br \/><em>Cartel de 78\/52<\/em> <\/p>\n<p>El punto final es un producto independiente que no tiene ni cartel. Se titula <strong>The Endless<\/strong> y ha sido dirigido y protagonizado por <strong>Justin Benson<\/strong> y <strong>Aaron Moorhead<\/strong>. <strong>The Endless<\/strong> es algo as&iacute; como una fusi&oacute;n de cine de ciencia ficci&oacute;n sesuda con los asuntos siniestros de las sectas made in USA. Se podr&iacute;a decir que es la <strong>Confluence<\/strong> de este 2017, aunque tambi&eacute;n usa esos elementos oscuros y de mal rollo que nos ofreci&oacute; hace unas ediciones la entretenida <strong>The Sacrament<\/strong>. Estamos ante una propuesta inteligente, que si contara con un poco m&aacute;s de medios, y sobre todo mejores actores, ser&iacute;a una completa delicia. El resultado no obstante es muy recomendable, inteligente y con cierto punto <em>lovecraftiano<\/em>&#8230; que no lo es tanto, pero que le da un poso diferente al producto final que bien merece un par de vueltas en la cabeza.
