Tremendo, Bloody Disgusting se ha ido al mercado cinematográfico de Cannes y ha sacado una foto al cartel promocional o de ventas de Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen<\/strong> (2018)<\/a>, el proyecto anunciado el otro día con puede que Neil Marshall<\/strong> a los mandos y David Harbour<\/strong> transformado en el icono comiquero. Si bien el cartel no es nada más, y nada menos, que un dibujo de Mike Mignola<\/strong>, la sorpresa llega con la presentación del posible título con el que la película se estrenaría en cines, y el año. 2018 está a la vuelta de la esquina y ese Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen<\/strong> es muy obra Mignola<\/strong>. Recordemos, al frente de la producción Millennium Films<\/strong> con guión de Andrew Cosby<\/strong>, Christopher Golden<\/strong> y Mike Mignola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tras este shock<\/em> del que costará recuperarse, indicar que de la noticia de The Flash<\/strong> de hoy hace un rato podemos ya restar nombres. Sam Raimi<\/strong>, y Marc Webb<\/strong> (este es nuevo) también, han pasado de la propuesta de Warner Bros.<\/strong><\/a> De regalo Billy Crudup<\/strong> deja de ser el padre de Ezra Miller<\/strong> en el film. Canela fina. Interesante es también leer en Variety que Shawn Levy<\/strong> ha sido fichado para dirigir el film de ciencia ficción The Fall<\/strong><\/a>. En la película esta, una pareja recientemente divorciada debe volver a unirse para tratar a los hijos que tienen en común cuando una invasión extraterrestre comienza a arrasar el planeta. De regalo, los trapos sucios de la pareja aflorará durante el periplo. Curiosa combinación de géneros. De regalo tenemos la primera imagen de "Star Trek: Discovery"<\/strong><\/a>, con primer vistazo a Michelle Yeoh<\/strong> como la Capitana Philippa Georgiou<\/em> y Sonequa Martin-Green<\/strong> como la Primera Oficial Michael Burnham<\/em>. Más abajo otra nueva imagen de "Marvel’s The Defenfers<\/strong>"<\/a> con el equipo al completo formado Matt Murdock<\/em>, Jessica Jones<\/em>, Luke Cage<\/em> y Danny Rand<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Para rematar un proyecto que me interesa. Jordan Pelee<\/strong> regresa al terror racial y al del mundo de H.P. Lovecraft<\/strong> con una antología de horror en formato serie para la HBO<\/strong> titulada "Lovecraft Country"<\/strong><\/a>. Basada en la novela de Matt Ruff<\/strong>, se centra en un joven llamado Atticus Black<\/em> que se junta con su amiga Letitia<\/em> y su tío George<\/em> para recorrer Estados Unidos en la era en la que estaban en activo las leyes de Jim Crow<\/strong>, esas que propugnaban la segregación racial en todas las instalaciones públicas por mandato de iure bajo el lema "separados pero iguales". El objetivo de su viaje es encontrar a su padre, pero para ello además de sufrir los horrores del racismo deberán hacer frente a otros terrores más propios de los relatos de H.P. Lovecraft<\/strong>. Desde luego que pinta interesante.<\/p>\n

Ya hablando de series, se confirma que Netflix<\/strong> producirá una serie de "The Witcher"<\/a>, adaptación de la serie novelesca "La Saga del Brujo"<\/strong>, creada por el escritor polaco Andrzej Sapkowski<\/strong>, y convertida en videojuegos. La vida y obra de Geralt de Rivia<\/em> será transformada finalmente en serie con el productor Sean Daniel<\/strong>, el padre de la saga La Momia<\/strong> de Brendan Fraser<\/strong>, y la compañía de efectos visuales Platige Image<\/strong>. Medievo, misterios, violencia, monstruos, brujería, etc. son los elementos que dan forma al universo de The Witcher<\/em> que contará seguramente con la dirección de Tomek Baginski<\/strong>.
