De nuevo a toda velocidad me paso por estos lugares para recuperar las noticias que se han producido hoy, no se si muy buenas pero por lo menos interesantes. En primer lugar destacar que Guillermo del Toro<\/a> no se irá a la Tierra Media<\/strong> con dedicación exclusiva a hobbits<\/em>, enanos y dragones. Cuentan en The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> que un nuevo proyecto de producción surgirá del acuerdo entre Del Toro<\/strong> y Miramax<\/strong>. El proyecto, un remake<\/em> del cultfilm de terror "Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark"<\/a> (1973) de John Newland<\/a>, será dirigido por el debutante Troy Nixey<\/a> y será readaptado por el propio director mexicano y su habitual colaborador Matthew Robbins<\/a>. La historia original se centraba en la historia de una joven chica que, tras irse a vivir con su padre y la novia de este, descubrirá que siniestras criaturas habitan en el subsuelo de la casa. Al frente de la producción Michael Falbo<\/a> y Keri Putnam<\/a> de la propia Miramax<\/strong>. Por ahora el proyecto está en fases preliminares pero avisan desde la compañía productora que en nadita se pondrán con el diseño e invención de criaturas… Curioso es sin embargo descubrir que Nixey<\/strong>, que cuenta en su haber con un corto de animación digital titulado Latchkey’s Lament<\/a> (2007), es un reputado dibujante de cómics de Batman<\/strong> o Matrix<\/strong>. Se ve que la apuesta de Guillermo del Toro<\/strong> por contar con grandes talentos con mejores ideas sigue su curso, primero fue Juan Antonio Bayona<\/a> con El Orfanato<\/a> (2007), ahora Troy Nixey<\/strong> con Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark<\/strong> y, quien sabe, igual Neil Gaiman<\/a> con Death: The High Cost of Living<\/a> (¿?).<\/p>\n

\"Nuevo<\/p>\n

Cambiemos de onda con un buen puñado de novedades aparecidas hoy en los portales web del canal MTV<\/strong>. En primer lugar Splashpage MTV descubre<\/a> que el sello comiquero IDW Publishing<\/strong> va a sacar a la luz una miniserie de 5 número titualada Transformers: Destiny<\/strong> que servirá de nexo para unir Transformers<\/a> (2007) con Trasformers: Revenge of the Fallen<\/a> (2009). La web descubre que en Transformers: Destiny<\/strong> se profundizará sobre The Fallen<\/strong>, el principal ¿villano? de la secuela, y se cerrarán todos los cabos sueltos para que la segunda parte pueda entenderse correctamente. Por ejemplo, ¿a dónde se piró Starscream<\/strong>? Pues gracias a la miniserie Reign of Starscream<\/strong> y a Transformers: Destiny<\/strong> sabremos este importante detalle además de otros muchos. En segundo lugar el propio MTV Movie News nos informa<\/a> que el RoboCop<\/a> (2010) que dirigirá Darren Aronofsky<\/a> no será definitivamente una secuela si no más bien un relanzamiento o reinvención de la franquicia al modo Batman Begins<\/a> (2005). Eso han confesado erre que erre los productores Brad Fischer<\/a> y Mike Medavoy<\/a>. En tercer lugar, y para dejar las cosas claras, MTV Movies Blog descubre<\/a>, también en boca de Fischer<\/strong> y Medavoy<\/strong> que RoboCop<\/strong> será calificada R<\/strong>, nada de medias tintas PG-13<\/strong> que estropearían la chicha de la película. A ver en que queda definitivamente la cosa, pero la frase final de la charla "It’s likely to be an R unless the director cuts back on some of it<\/em>" no me ha gustado nada… ¿será una R<\/strong> a no ser que Aronofsky<\/strong> diga lo contrario? o ¿será una R<\/strong> a no ser que a Aronofsky<\/strong> le digan lo contrario?<\/p>\n

\"Nuevo<\/p>\n

Ahora unas cuantas breves. Cuentan en Variety<\/a> que Inglorious Bastards<\/a> (2009) de Quentin Tarantino<\/a> podría tener al fin casa grande donde acojerse. Parece ser que Universal Pictures<\/strong> está negociando con Weinstein Co.<\/strong> para compartir la tarea de llevar la nueva obra de Tarantino<\/strong> a los cines de todo el mundo. Un principio de acuerdo se tuvo ya con Paramount Pictures<\/strong> pero diferencias en cuanto a los porcentajes que le corresponderían de la recaudación rompieron el acuerdo. Ojo, lo de Universal<\/strong> tampoco está muy claro, si Brad Pitt<\/a> acaba interpretando a Aldo Raine<\/strong>, deberá antes limar las asperezas surgidas al dejar con el culo al aire a la major tras su repentina salida de State of Play<\/a> (2009). Más madera, aunque por ahora no está muy localizable en formato web, aquí tenéis, gracias a Moviefone, el nuevo trailer de Harry Potter y el misterio del príncipe!<\/a> Tiene buena pinta este nuevo capítulo de la saga Harry Potter<\/strong>. Dirigida de nuevo por David Yates<\/a>, al que podemos ver en una nueva batería de fotos del film publicadas por USA Today<\/a>, Cerramos esta sección indicando que gracias a Ain’t It Cool News<\/a> nos enteramos que el tema musical que encabezará a Quantum of Solace<\/a> (2008) de Marc Forster<\/a> será compuesto y cantado por Jack White<\/strong> y Alicia Keys<\/strong>, se titulará Another Way To Die<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
