Última hora, aquí está el trailer de The Day the Earth Stood Still<\/a> (2008), el remake<\/em> de Ultimátum a la Tierra<\/a> (1951) que dirige Scott Derrickson<\/a> con Keanu Reeves<\/a>, Jennifer Connelly<\/a> y Kathy Bates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nuevo día a media velocidad donde las noticias son pocas pero suficientemente jugosas. Importante es el anuncio aparecido hoy eh The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> donde se descubre que David Fincher<\/a> junto a Dark Horse Entertainment<\/strong> y Blur Studios<\/a> se han hecho con los derechos cinematográficos sobre El Bruto (The Goon)<\/a> de Eric Powell<\/strong>. La idea es llevar esta pequeña y magnífica obra comiquera a la gran pantalla en forma de film de animación digital, ¿de que otra manera sería posible? El guión será escrito por el propio Powell<\/strong> y contará con Fincher<\/strong> como principal baluarte de la producción, por lo tanto, lo que se haga, ser hará bien. Blur Studios<\/strong> es una empresa de sobra conocida, nominada a un Oscar<\/strong> por el corto Gopher Broke<\/a> (2004) y presente desde hace muchos años ofreciendo geniales trabajos de animación que han creado escuela. El Bruto<\/strong> será su debut en el cine con mayúsculas. De un tiempo a esta parte, además de comprar todo lo que se publica de Hellboy<\/strong> y AIPD<\/strong>, me he aficionado a la obra de Powell<\/strong> por su mala baba, su singular estilo y su altísima calidad como obra cómic, la evolución de su dibujo deja perplejo a cualquiera, y sus guiones son para pasarse un buen rato riendo a carcajadas. El Bruto<\/strong> es un ajetreado empleado de la familia Labrazio<\/strong> que, junto a su peculiar amigo Franky<\/strong>, se dedica a mantener a los zombis del Pope Zombi<\/strong> a buen recaudo en el Callejón Solitario<\/strong>. Aplicando los métodos más diversos, El Bruto<\/strong> deberá hacer frente a todo tipo de monstruosidades, desde vampiros a mutantes pasando por hombres lobos, criaturas marinas que viven en la zona portuaria y un largo etcétera de grotescas apariciones. A ver que sale, pero seguro que animación CGI<\/strong> para adultos por la violencia de la obra gráfica!<\/p>\n

Para rematar unas breves. El diario USA Today<\/a> y la revista Empire <\/a>han sacado a la luz nuevas fotos de Harry Potter y el misterio del príncipe<\/a> (2008) de David Yates<\/a>. Esta última también nos ofrece: una nueva imagen de la nueva del hombre lobo<\/a>, en ella podemos ver a Benicio del Toro<\/a>, Emily Blunt<\/a> y Anthony Hopkins<\/a> vestidos de negro acudiendo a uno de los muchos funerales que se celebrarán en The Wolf Man<\/a> (2009) de Joe Johnston<\/a>, otra es esta vez la primera imagen<\/a> de Cirque Du Freak<\/a> (2008) de Paul Weitz<\/a> con Darren Shah<\/strong> (Chris Massoglia<\/a>) acompañando al vampiro Larten Crepsley<\/strong> (John C. Reilly<\/a>) al interior del circo donde trabajará para pagar la deuda de un amigo. Cuentan en \/Films<\/a> que diversos medios del corazón del otro lado del charco anuncian que Robert Rodriguez<\/a> y Rose McGowan<\/a> han terminado su relación tras varios meses de noviazgo. Nunca hablaría de un tema tan anodino como este si no fuera porque ahora que la feliz pareja que se las prometía geniales rodando mil cosas juntos se separan… ¿qué pasa con los florecientes proyectos de Barbarella<\/a> (2009), Red Sonja<\/a> (2010) o la serie Girls in Chains<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

 NOTA <\/strong> Parece ser que a Christian Bale<\/a> le han preguntado qué opinaba de un posible retorno de Robin para una hipotética tercera parte del nuevo Batman<\/a> de Christopher Nolan.
