Hoy Universal Pictures<\/strong> y Marvel Studios<\/strong>, a través de IGN<\/a>, muestran al mundo el primer póster molón de The Incredible Hulk<\/a> (2008) de Louis Leterrier<\/a>. Gracias a otras fuentes me lo he agenciado libre de marcas de agua que es como más se disfrutan estas cosas. El nuevo Hulk<\/strong> protagonizado por Edward Norton<\/a>, Tim Roth<\/a>, William Hurt<\/a> y Liv Tyler<\/a> establece descaradamente un punto y aparte en el concepto trasmitido en la primera revisión cinematográfica del héroe de la Marvel<\/strong>, el incomprendido y muy comiquero Hulk<\/a> (2003) de Ang Lee<\/a>. Este cartel recuerda mucho más a la serie televisiva protagonizada por Lou Ferrigno<\/a> y Bill Bixby<\/a>, se remarca el peso que Bruce Banner<\/strong> tiene que soportar sobre sus hombros por tener que vivir con un estigma en forma de mutación que le transforma en una criatura incontrolable…<\/p>\n

Otra de las noticias importantes de la jornada es el anuncio realizado en Variety<\/strong> por el cual se descubre que Dreamworks se ha hecho con los derechos cinematográficos sobre el hiperdetallista e increíble manga "Ghost in the Shell"<\/a> del maestro Masamune Shirow<\/strong>. La idea de la compañía es realizar una película 3D con actores de carne y hueso. Es curioso pero quienes han llevado realmente el proyecto al estudio son en realidad Avi Arad<\/a>, Ari Arad<\/a> y Steven Paul<\/a> de la compañía Seaside Entertainment<\/strong>, los cuales se guardan el as en la manga de intervenir como productores del film. La cosa toma forma rápidamente con el anuncio de la guionista encargada de la adaptación. La elegida es Jamie Moss<\/a>, la responsable del buen trabajo efectuado en Street Kings<\/a> (2008) de David Ayer<\/a>, el último film protagonizado por Keanu Reeves<\/a>. En la presentación del proyecto estuvo Steven Spielberg<\/a>, este comentó que no lo dudó ni un instante al tener la oportunidad de traer el film a Dreamworks<\/strong> porque se reconoce adorador de la obra de Shirow<\/strong>. Según el presidente de producción de Dreamworks<\/strong>, Adam Goodman<\/strong>, "Ghost in the Shell es un proyecto que personifica todas las posibilidades de una película de acción real en tres dimensiones<\/em>". Ghost in the Shell es una de esas obras de obligada lectura para conocer a uno de los artistas manga más envidiables de la historia. Gráficamente perfecta y con una historia bastante compleja, ya fue adaptada al anime en 1995 con un resultado superior.<\/p>\n

Ahora unas cuantas noticias breves para pasar el rato. Se ve que el éxito de los remakes<\/em> de films mediocres de los años 80 atrae a todo el mundo a rehacer una y otra vez lo ya manido. La remozada web de Fangoria nos anuncia<\/a> hoy que The House on Sorority Row<\/a> (Siete mujeres atrapadas<\/strong>, 1983) de Mark Rosman<\/a> se une al selecto club de films de los que nadie quería volver a hablar y que por contra vuelven al candelero. Los escritores que ya han adaptado este remake<\/em> son Josh Stolberg<\/a> y Pete Goldfinger<\/a>, guionistas ya descartados tras llevar Piraña<\/a> (1978) a los tiempos modernos, Piranha<\/a> (2009), y tomar Alexander Aja<\/a> la decisión de rehacer el desaguisado. Siete mujeres atrapadas<\/strong> es el clásico film slasher<\/em> donde un grupo de estudiantes pertenedientes a una hermandad sufren el acecho de un serial killer<\/em> que conoce un oscuro secreto que ocultan. Shock Till You Drop comenta<\/a> que \t\tLars von Trier<\/a> se pasa al terror para dirigir Antichrist<\/a> (2008). El argumento de la película inicialmente no es que levante pasiones, una pareja se va a una apartada cabaña en el bosque para intentar recuperar por medios poco habituales a su hijo muerto. Eso si, los primeros comentarios sobre el guión indican que se trata de un thriller psicológico que torna para acabar convirtiéndose en un film de terror. Otro remake<\/em> que sigue tomando forma es Friday the 13th<\/a> (2009) de Marcus Nispel<\/a>. Bloody Disgusting por un lado<\/a>, Shock Till You Drop por el otro<\/a> y Dread Central para sumarse al grupo<\/a> anuncian que: primero, Danielle Panabaker<\/a>, Aaron Yoo<\/a> y Travis Van Winkle<\/a> se unen a Jared Padalecki<\/a>, Derek Mears<\/a> y Amanda Righetti<\/a> como miembros del staff<\/em> del campamento Crystal Lake<\/strong> que morirá a manos de Jason Voorhees<\/strong> (Mears<\/strong>) mientras retozan como buenamente pueden. Segundo, el maestro en FX Scott Stoddard<\/a> será el encargado en ofrecernos las truculentas muertas de todas incautas víctimas… ¿dejarán a Stoddard<\/strong> ofrecer niveles gore<\/em> similares a los creados por Tom Savini<\/a> para el film de 1980? Da la impresión de que Platinum Dunes<\/strong> está apostando fuerte por este proyecto.<\/p>\n
