Tras el primer paso de la jornada<\/a> toca ponerse con el segundo capítulo de hoy… menudo mes de febrero más atareado que nos está quedando. Hoy se ha descubierto algunos temas que giran entorno a Neil Marshall<\/a>, el director de Dog Soldiers<\/a> (2002), The Descent<\/a> (2005) y la inminente Doomsday<\/a> (2007). Bloody Disgusting nos cuenta<\/a> que ya está escrito el guión de The De2cent<\/a> (2009), vamos, la secuela de la obra de Marshall<\/strong>. El film finalmente ha sido escrito por James Watkins<\/a> y continuará la acción donde la dejó la película original. Se descubre que Marshall<\/strong> está completamente desvinculado del proyecto, esto hace comprender lo lamentable que apunta a ser… atención al argumento, el personaje de Shauna Macdonald<\/a>, Sarah<\/strong>, regresará a la cueva tras ser encontrada por un equipo de rescate que no tiene mejor idea que llevársela con ella para tocarle un poco las narices… como es de esperar, una vez que están todos bien dentro empieza el desparrame. Apunta a caspa total. Interesante sin embargo es su deseado nuevo proyecto<\/a>, titulado Eagle’s Nest<\/strong> (El Nido del Águila<\/strong>). Neil Marshall<\/strong> intentará con este proyecto hacer un homenaje al cine de aventuras estilo Indiana Jones<\/strong> con un personaje llamado Jack Ravenscroft<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Nuevo<\/p>\n

Cambiando de género, y apuntando al comiquero<\/a>, comentar que Jonathan Mostow<\/a> ha llegado a un acuerdo con Virgin Comics<\/strong> para encargarse de llevar a la gran pantalla la adaptación cinematográfica de "The Megas"<\/strong>, una novela gráfica que acaba de publicar la editorial y que se basó en una idea del propio Mostow<\/strong>. La obra, escrita finalmente por John Harrison<\/strong> y escrita por Peter Rubin<\/strong>, cuenta la historia de una clase social llamada los Megas<\/strong>, que se rigen por su propia ley y que pululan por unos USA<\/strong> imaginarios. Un detective que cree inicialmente en la política de esta clase social cambiará de posición cuando investigando un crimen producido en el círculo social de este grupo descubra la verdad que hay detrás de ellos. Aunque se desconoce si Mostow<\/strong> se encargará o no del guión, la dirección cae de su lado. El proyecto todavía está sujeto con alfileres, Mostow ahora mismo está entretenido con The Surrogates<\/a> (2009), otro proyecto comiquero que protagoniza Bruce Willis<\/a> y que comenzará a rodarse dentro de un par de meses bajo un guión escrito por John Brancato<\/a> y Michael Ferris<\/a>, los mismos que Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins<\/a> (2009) de McG<\/a>. Como ya comentaba en otro momento The Surrogates<\/strong> nos llevará a un mundo futuro donde los humanos vivimos completamente aislados y donde el único punto de comunicación entre nosotros radica en el uso de robots controlados por sus dueños que hacen de sustitutos personales de cara al exterior. Bruce Willis<\/strong> interpretará a un policía que, a través de su surrogate<\/em>, investigará los asesinatos de otros surrogates<\/em>. Obligado a salir de su casa por primera vez en su vida, Willis<\/strong> descubrirá una conspiración a gran escala…<\/p>\n

\"Nuevo<\/p>\n

Ahora unas breves. Cuentan en The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> que el innecesario remake<\/em> de El Padrastro<\/a> (1987), cuenta ya con nuevas incorporaciones. Jon Tenney<\/a> y Amber Heard<\/a> se unen a Sela Ward<\/a>, Penn Badgley<\/a> y Dylan Walsh<\/a>, el nuevo serial killer on the loose<\/em>. Desde Rotten Tomatoes <\/a> nos llega el curioso dato de que Common<\/a> fue tanteado para interpretar a Road Block<\/strong> en los G.I. Joe<\/a> (2009) de Stephen Sommers<\/a>. La opción del trabajo surgió cuando Justice League of America<\/a> (¿2009?) de George Miller<\/a> fue "cancelada" por Warner Bros.<\/strong> y cuando la compañía decidió dar la libertad laboral al reparto contratado. Desde Ahora Hollywood<\/a> nos llega el trailer de Starship Troopers 3: Marauder<\/a> (2008). Si, cuando nadie pensaba que pudiera ocurrir tenemos esta cosa lista para salir directamente al mercado del DVD al otro lado del charco… producto para nostálgicos de la gran obra de Paul Verhoeven<\/a> y con Casper Van Dien<\/a> de nuevo dando caña… argh.<\/p>\n
